Notwithstanding this century's array of technological wonders in medicine, transportation, nuclear energy, and electronic communications, we live in a considerably troubled society. Under the heavy onslaught of drug misuse, increasing crime rate, terrorism, moral conflict and illiteracy, much of this world has become a dangerous environment for the people on earth.
Some of the activities and programmes that the Foundation develops and also supports are:
- The development and support of community improvement programmes, including literacy, criminal reform, drug rehabilitation, art and literature.
- The development and support of programmes dedicated to enhance or beautify the environment.
- The improvement of parks, streets, museums and other civic areas by providing programmes, photo and art exhibits and permanent works of art and improvements that raise the quality of communication in life.
- The preservation of the heritage of diverse races, cultures and religions by supporting active and successful programmes and creating them where needed.
- To develop and support programmes that help to create a better world without war, crime and insanity.
- To provide methods of conflict resolution and management on a national and international level so as to improve man's relations.
