All-Party Parliamentary Group on Patient and Public Involvement
The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Patient and Public Involvement provides a forum for Members of both Houses to debate patient and public involvement in health; to develop stronger links between parliamentarians and bodies in this field; and to help promote the role played by such bodies on behalf of local communities.
It meets regularly when Parliament is in session.
The Group’s officers are: Patrick Hall MP (Chair), Dr Richard Taylor MP (Secretary), Peter Bottomley MP (Vice Chair), and Baroness Masham of Ilton. The group receives administrative support, such as keeping minutes of meetings and drawing up agendas, from the Commission for Patient and Public Involvement in Health.
