In this issue pH7 focuses on sexual health to coincide with the announcement in May by the Health Select Committee that it is to investigate the government's strategy in this area. In particular we have chosen to focus on male sexual dysfunction - not only because it is at the front-line of the philosophical debate on what should constitute the limit of publically funded healthcare, but because it is the perfect example of a condition which frequently indicates a more serious underlying cause. Of course there are many other vital areas of the government's sexual health strategy which need to be investigated for which we did not have room. Suffice it to say that this should be viewed as Part 1, with more coverage in subsequent editions.
