SANDRA OSBORNE MP says a personal thank you to Prince Charles on his visit to Dumfries House.

Ayr, Carrick and Cumnock MP, Sandra Osborne, took the opportunity to say a personal thank you to Prince Charles for leading the consortium which has saved Dumfries House and Estate for the nation.

Sandra said,

“It is a good day for Ayrshire, and the Cumnock area in particular.

I was pleased to be able to thank Prince Charles personally for stepping in, not only to save Dumfries House for the nation but also on the plans to provide much needed opportunities for jobs and regeneration in the Cumnock area.

I welcome East Ayrshire Council’s involvement in planning for the future development of the project along with the Princes Foundation.

Along with other local projects, such as the new Burns Museum and the Redevelopment of Girvan Harbour, we can look forward to putting Ayrshire on the map and attracting more visitors to the area.”
