Sandra delighted at Barony win

Sandra Osborne has congratulated the Barony A Frame Trust on winning last Monday’s phone in vote for the project to receive funding from the People’s Millions. Speaking after STV announced the result of the voting she said

“I would like to thank all members of the public from Ayrshire and beyond who phoned in to vote for the Barony Project.  The result is well deserved by all those who have worked hard to develop the ‘Pitheid Patter’ project , especially local councillors Barney Menzies and Neil McGhee. The funding will help keep alive the story of the Barony Colliery and of the Ayrshire Mining tradition.”
