Sandra Osborne's office goes 'green'

SANDRA OSBORNE MP has taken up the South Ayrshire Council challenge to recycle 25% of waste by 2006.

With Alex Cairns - South Ayrshire Convener of Commercial and Business Services - outside her Ayr office with the first 'Green Bag' containing waste paper for recycling, she said:

"It is very important that Local Government works in partnership with national Government to live up to international agreements to safeguard the future of our planet.

"South Ayrshire Council was most helpful in advising me. I urge other small offices to 'do their bit' for the environment."
