Sandra Osborne MP for Ayr, Carrick & Cumnock constituency has voiced her concerns following the announcement that the plans for new health services in Ayrshire have been out on hold.

Sandra said:

‘As suspected the community casualty facilities at Girvan and Cumnock and a much needed cancer centre which would have greatly improved health care in Ayrshire are in danger of being sacrificed.  It should not be a question of either keeping both A&E units open at Crosshouse and Ayr or bringing health services closer to the community.  Therefore, I hope we will see the same campaign repeated to make sure these very important facilities get the go ahead.’
