Application CPT/494/06/FUL
Mr Ian Burchill
Director of Environment and Sustainability
Castle Point Borough Council
Kiln Road, Thundersley
SS7 1TF
9 August 2006
Dear Mr Burchill,
Application reference number: CPT/494/06/FUL
166-168 Kiln Road, Thundersley, Essex
Two storey rear extension and alterations to form 8 x one bedroom flats
I am writing to formally object to the above planning application on behalf of the people of Castle Point. I have been contacted by many residents regarding this specific development and similar developments and I urge you most strongly to reject this application.
As I stated in my letter to you of 18 April 2006 in respect of application reference CPT/91/06/FUL, this site is wholly inappropriate for such a development, lacking entirely the necessary infrastructure to sustain additional residences. This includes issues such as inadequate parking and access arrangements, increased noise, fumes and congestion, and lack of privacy.
May I thank you for your kindness in considering this matter and I look forward to hearing from you in due course.
With all good wishes,
Yours ever,
Bob Spink MP
