Our People - Putting our staff first – because our business depends on them.
Our aim is to make Standard Life a great place to work. We do this through:

Bringing out the best in our team We recognise and develop abilities across the board – from our leaders to our support staff. Our well-developed approach to training aims to help our employees succeed in their jobs and gives them every opportunity to learn and develop as individuals. We ensure that our managers are well equipped to develop and utilise their own talents and those of their people.
Rewarding excellence We review our salary and benefits package regularly to ensure that we remain competitive in the marketplace and continue to attract and retain talented staff. We also consult staff representative bodies during our salary review process to ensure that we take account of the benefits and services that staff feel are most important to them.We recognise our staff for their personal contribution through our contractual bonus schemes which are based on company and personal performance.
