The ProLife Party is Europe's first pro-life political party. We seek to ensure the right to life of all, the most basic and fundamental human right. We use only peaceful and democratic means to reach our objectives. We are totally opposed to any form of violent protest.
Absolute respect for innocent human life from the one-cell embryo stage until natural death is the keystone of natural justice. It is not a single issue as many opponents suggest but an all-embracing philosophy.
By refusing to proclaim and defend the right to life of all, the main political parties condemn to failure attempts to alleviate this country's social ills.
The ProLife Party is committed to making the United Kingdom a truly just society. We campaign on issues of abortion, euthanasia and embryo destruction.
The ProLife Party was established in 1997 with the name ProLife Alliance. We fielded 55 candidates in the UK's 1997 General Election, which entitled us to a Party Election Broadcast. However, the broadcasters complained that our broadcast would "offend public taste and decency" and censored almost half of the broadcast. The censored portion would have shown the truth about abortion.
Since 1997 we have fielded candidates in the 2001 General Election, 2003 Scottish Parliament Election and Welsh Assembly Election.
The name of the ProLife Alliance was changed to ProLife Party in 2003.
