Business Boom on Track Following Olympic Joy

Following London's successful Olympic 2012 bid the whole nation can look forward to an economic upswing, UK business leaders said today.

Miles Templeman, Director General of the Institute of Directors (IoD), said:

"This is excellent news. The IoD has been behind London's bid from the outset and is delighted that the Games will be coming to London in 2012.  This is not just good news for business in London but for the whole country.  Long awaited regeneration of parts of London will now proceed, including the much needed upgrade of the public transport system."
