Appointed part-time Executive Chairman of hospitality company Eldridge Pope after a number of senior positions in the drinks, fashion and food sectors.
As Managing Director of Threshers Off Licences in the mid Eighties Mr Templeman brought an integrated marketing strategy to the high street chain that increased turnover and profits.
During eleven years as Managing Director of Whitbread Beer Company he oversaw a transformation in the fortunes of the brewing giant, increasing profits by £40m.
Joining HP Bulmer as Chief Executive in 2002 Miles Templeman successfully negotiated the sale of the cider producer to Scottish and Newcastle.
As Marketing Director of Levi Strauss he oversaw the establishment of the '501' brand. Similarly, helped develop the Ribena and Lucozade brands into well-known drinks while Group Product Manager at Beecham Foods in the 1970s.
