ACCA and the public sector

Large numbers of ACCA members work in the public sector, fulfilling a wide range of roles at all levels. ACCA members are now finance directors, chief executives and operations managers in many local authorities, government service departments and health trusts.

ACCA publishes advice and information which addresses issues currently facing finance professionals working in the public sector. Recent research includes an assessment of the accountability and transparency of PFI projects.
