New IVF rules mooted

Britain's IVF guidelines, which require couples to be deemed responsible parents before doctors can treat them, are up for review.

The government’s fertility watchdog, the  Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority, is considering plans to ease its rules and will today announce a public consultation on the issue.
