A parliamentary motion to impeach Tony Blair has been approved as meeting the rules of the Commons.

The decision paves the way for the motion to be tabled the day after the Queen's Speech.

Plaid Cymru MP Adam Price said the move was "the only way left to MPs to call the prime minister to account over his conduct in the war against Iraq".
