Child abuse experts facing review

The government has unveiled a new approach on the use of expert witnesses in child abuse cases.

Following a series of miscarriages of justice involving women wrongly convicted of murdering their children, Margaret Hodge, the children's minister, told MPs that she was determined witnesses should be competent and properly assessed.
