Purple flour protestors spared jail

The two men who pelted the prime minister with purple flour on Wednesday will not be sent to prison.

Ron Davis and Guy Harrison have only been charged with public order offences which carry a maximum £1,000 fine.

The fathers' rights campaigners will appear at Bow Street magistrate's court next week.
