Welcome to my website.

I have represented Sunderland South in Parliament since 1987.

I have an office at 6 Duoro Terrace, near the centre of Sunderland which is open to constituents from 10am to 1pm on each working day and strictly by appointment from 2-5pm.

In addition I hold regular surgeries the details of which are available elsewhere on this website. All non-constituency business is dealt with by my assistant, Joanne Simpson. Constituency casework is handled by Graham March. They can both be contacted on 0191 567 2848. Please note: we cannot take up casework on behalf of people who live in other constituencies.
