NOAH's new officer team

 

John McNally, commercial directorat Intervet UK Ltd, has been elected as the new chairman of the National Officeof Animal Health for 2001-2002. Theelection took place at NOAHs AGM on 24 May.

 

Nick Kamm, managing director ofVtoquinol UK, was elected the associations new vice-chairman.

 

The treasurer remains the same:John Powell, commercial director of the Bob Martin Company. Sam Black, directorof Leo Animal Health, now becomes the NOAH past-chairman.

 

John McNally graduated from theRoyal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, Edinburgh in 1980. From there he worked in a mixed practice inSomerset, Shropshire and Ayrshire, latterly as a partner in a two man practice. In 1989 he joined Intervet as a livestockveterinary advisor and transferred to Mycofarm in 1994 as National SalesManager. In 1996 Intervet and Mycofarmmerged and he became National Sales Manager for Intervet. John is now commercial director for IntervetUK Ltd.

 

Nick Kamm has been in the animalhealth industry for over 30 years and with Vtoquinol UK for the pasteleven. Nick, who started his workingcareer as a chemist, was initially with Rohm Haas and worked with them in theUK and in Europe. He spent a brief timewith Hoechst Animal Health until he was involved in starting up Univet, aveterinary owned company, in 1981.Vtoquinol acquired Univet in 1990 and in 1997 Nick added the managementof Vtoquinol Ireland to the UK.
