PAUL GOODMAN MP TO OPEN NEW LOOK CHARITY SHOP IN MARLOW

Paul Goodman MP will be joining staff and volunteers at Shaw Trust’s Marlow charity shop at 10.45 am on Friday 19 March 04 at 89 Marlow High Street. Joining Mr Goodman to cut ribbons and officially re-open the shop after a refit will be Pat Webber who has been a Shaw Trust volunteer since the shop first opened in 1996 and Richard Chapman who is a new volunteer hoping his time at the Marlow shop will give him the experience and confidence he needs to get back into work.

Shaw Trust is a national disability charity that provides training and work opportunities for over 20,000 disabled and disadvantaged people across the UK each year. It has 25 retail shops across the South, Midlands and Wales, and a further 120 vocational projects throughout the country.
Paul Goodman MP said “I know from experience how much the Shaw Trust does locally to help people with disabilities find and keep work. People who devote their time to the Marlow shop play a vital part in this work. I'm delighted to be present at the shop's re-opening."
