Are you up-to-date with the sinlge largest law reform project undertakenby the Law Commission since 1965?
The Land Registration Act 2002 which will be brought into force on 13October 2003 is the outcome of six years joint work by the Law Commissionand Land Registry.
The aim of the Act is to improve and modernise land registration law toenable
- registration of all land in England and Wales by 2012
- full e-conveyancing system pilot by 2007
- an independent Land Registry adjudication service
You are invited to a briefing on the Act by Peter Collis, Chief LandRegistrar at Land Registry Head Office, Lincoln's Inn Fields, London WC2A3PH on Friday 18 July. Please arrive at 3.15 pm for a 3.30 start. Thebriefing will last approximately one hour.
