BUPA enhances intermediary website

BUPA has enhanced its dedicated intermediary website - www.bupa.co.uk/intercom - to includeonline membership guides, key benefits tables and specially designedapplication forms that can be downloaded and printed.
The new website uses a series of tabs to guideintermediaries quickly and easily through the site. There are seven mainsections covering products, service, news and details of how to contact BUPA.Intermediaries can also obtain a quote for BUPA Heartbeat, the personal healthplan that puts as much emphasis on keeping people well as helping them whenthey are ill. Access is also available to details of BUPA's other personal andcompany products including dental cover, travel insurance and cash plans.
BUPA sales director Steve Flanagan said: 'We've put a lotof time and effort into asking intermediaries exactly what they need from BUPAvia the web and responded to their requests with our newly designed site. It iseasy to navigate, simple to use and gives intermediaries access to productdetails and application forms at the touch of a button and all this informationcan be downloaded and printed, thereby saving the intermediary time andeffort.'
BUPA also offers intermediaries access to the BUPAHealthLine which is staffed by a team of dedicated and fully qualified nurses,who can provide them and their immediate family members with clinicalinformation and suggest possible treatments 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Intermediariescan register on the Intercom website for free access to the BUPA HealthLine.
'Every element of the website has been designed to provideinformation and support to the intermediary. It is backed up by our team ofadvisers in the intermediary service centre who are available to answerquestions and queries about our products and services,' said Steve Flanagan.
