Social and Learning Skills programme

Commenting on Ed Balls announcement to expand the Social Emotional Aspects of Learning programme Steve Sinnott General Secretary of the National Union of Teachers Britain’s largest teaching union said:

“I welcome the expansion of SEAL. At long last Government is providing meaningful and relevant professional development for tackling the root causes of unacceptable pupil behaviour.

“At what ever stage in their career teachers welcome new and positive thinking about the best ways of motivating young people and addressing disruption”.
