Pro Bono Matters

Monday 12 November to Saturday 17 November: National Pro Bono Week, now in its sixth year, is a campaign to celebrate the range and impact of pro bono activity undertaken by lawyers, often in conjunction with other professionals, giving their services for free.

This year the focus is on international pro bono and law students' involvement in pro bono projects.

Events around the country include:

Launch of National Pro Bono Week:  Monday 12 November. The Law Society, 113 Chancery Lane, London at 8.30 a.m.

Mansion House Reception: An event hosted by the Lord Mayor at the Mansion House on Thursday 15 November at 6pm, highlighting international pro bono opportunities.

The first Joint National Pro Bono Conference: Organised and hosted by LawWorks, the Bar Pro Bono Unit and the ILEX Pro Bono Forum in association with Advice Services Alliance and supported by the Bar Council of England and Wales, the Law Society and the Institute of Legal Executives.
