Tsunami 3 years on

ONLINE PHOTO EXHIBITION: FROM DISASTER TO DEVELOPMENT

Help the Aged is producing an online photo exhibition to highlight how natural disasters, such as the 2004 tsunami, disproportionately affect older people.  The exhibition focuses on Help the Aged’s work in India, Sri Lanka and Indonesia.  It shows how our local partners help people move from disaster to development through the 3 Rs - relief, recovery and rehabilitation. 

The exhibition contains moving and inspiring images from photographers Shahidul Alam, John Cobb, Peter Caton and Penny Tweedie.  It will be live from Tuesday 6 May.

Please note that this online exhibition replaces the photo exhibition at the Draywalk Gallery.  This has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
