Cameron rejigs frontbench team
David Cameron has announced a rejig of his frontbench team, promoting eight of his newest MPs.
The Conservative leader announced that he was making close ally Ed Vaizey his shadow arts minister.
But Bernard Jenkin who was previously in charge of the 'A-list', Malcolm Moss, Mark Field, Tim Boswell and Andrew Turner are all returning to the backbenches.
Anne Milton becomes shadow tourism minister, Greg Clark takes on a role covering the work of the voluntary sector, and Shailesh Vara becomes shadow deputy leader of the Commons.
James Brokenshire has been appointed a shadow home affairs minister, David Jones becomes shadow minister for Wales and Mark Lancaster and Robert Goodwill are both appointed to the Whips Office.
In other changes announced on Tuesday, Maria Miller has been moved to become shadow minister for family welfare, while John Maples becomes deputy chairman with responsibility for candidates.
Henry Bellingham becomes a shadow constitutional affairs minister and Andrew Selous takes a role shadowing ministers in the Department of Work and Pensions.
Anne McIntosh has been appointed shadow minister for education.
