| Iraq: Troops still in danger |
Tony Blair has refused to comment on claims that he is personally responsible for the death of a British serviceman killed in Iraq.
The comments came after Ann Toward said her Guardsman husband Anthony Wakefield should never have been sent to Iraq - claiming the prime minister's decision to deploy troops had deprived her children of a father.
"He sent the troops over and he should not have done it," she said. "If it was not for that, their dad would have been here today."
But speaking to journalists on Tuesday, the prime minister said it would not be "right or appropriate" to respond to the claim.
