Commons: Queen's Speech debate

The leaders of the main political parties have clashed in the Commons over the government's programme as set out in the Queen's Speech.

Following speeches by Labour backbenchers Kevin Barron and Vera Baird, Conservative leader Michael Howard was first to his feet to respond.
