Final push for Scots voters
Campaigning in Scotland is continuing as all parties mount a final push for votes.
Tony Blair and Gordon Brown are expected to make a whistlestop visit north of the border on the last full day of campaigning.
Charles Kennedy will return to Scotland for an 11th-hour drive for votes before heading to his Highlands constituency on Thursday.
Senior Lib Dems believe they are set to make gains from Labour, targeting seats such as Aberdeen South and East Dunbartonshire and Inverness, Nairn, Badenoch and Strathspey.
The Lib Dems also hope to pick up the Edinburgh South seat of trade minister Nigel Griffiths.
Michael Howard has not been in Scotland for the last week and may not put in an appearance today.
But as he makes a bid for wavering voters, David McLetchie will tell the media that his party represents the "alternative vision" north of the border.
The Tories hope to pick up some seats - with Dumfries and Galloway number one on their target list.
Despite failing to see much progress in the polls, the SNP is confident of making some gains.
While the Conservatives are targeting the party, Alex Salmond has said he hopes to capitalise in the Iraq war and the Blair factor in seats such as Dundee East.
Salmond will spend the last day of campaigning travelling across Scotland.
"SNP victories will ensure London can't ignore Scotland and, as fear of the SNP saved the Govan shipyard in 1999, SNP success can win a higher pension and more support for families and first-time buyers," he said.
"It can save Scotland's regiments and fishing industry and stop Labour plans for a new nuclear missile on the Clyde and new nuclear waste dumps."
