Negative tactics 'failing to woo voters'
A new opinion poll has given Labour a seven point lead over the Tories, but also shows that recent rows have failed to sway public opinion.
The Populus poll for the Times puts Labour on 39 per cent, down two points from last month.
The Tories are unchanged on 32 per cent whilst the Liberal Democrats have picked up two points to put them on 20 per cent.
