Constituency profile

The Scottish boundary changes have been relatively uncontentious in East Lothian. 

Additional voters have been added from the old Edinburgh East and Musselburgh constituency, but the dominance of Labour on East Lothian council shows that the addition of Musselburgh will do little to harm Labour's majority and their hold on this seat in future general elections.
