The Scottish boundary changes have seen Edinburgh West lose parts of Pilton and Craigleith and gain Murrayfield and Stenhouse.

Based on the last round of elections the seat should now be relatively safe for the Liberal Democrats, though it will still be a distant but ultimately winnable target for both Labour and the Conservatives should either party have a particularly good election in Edinburgh.
