Brent South
Constituency profile
The Brent South constituency is due to disappear after the next general election under Boundary Commission proposals.
The majority of the seat is likely to be merged with parts of North Westminster.
Despite low turnouts, the multi-cultural, deprived wards to the south and east of Brent South will exert a strong pro-Labour force on the political complexion of any new seat.
But for the moment at least, Brent South will remain one of Labour’s safest seats.
