Cardiff Central is one of the Liberal Democrats target seats for the next general election.

Already holding the National Assembly for Wales seat, they will be determined to press home their advantage over the government's tuition fees policy.

Jon Owen Jones will be looking to distance himself as much as possible from this policy, which is so unpopular among a large contingent of his electorate.
