Geoffrey Robinson has a strong grip on Coventry North West.

Local election results and the seat’s demographics suggest the seat should be more marginal than it is and indicate a personal popularity despite his troubles in Westminster of a few years ago.

The Tories need a 12.8 per cent swing in their favour to take the seat and Robinson, unlike the football club in recent seasons, should avoid relegation.
