Aylesbury
Constituency profile
This seat appears as if it will be safe Conservative territory for some time to come.
Tactical voting could reduce the Tory majority, but the people of Aylesbury have shown no taste for such methods, and even were they to develop such an inclination it would require nothing short of a Lib/Lab pact to stand any chance of unseating the Conservatives, who with a majority of over 47 per cent of the vote are clearly in command.
