Pudsey was one of Labour’s biggest prizes in 1997, when the Conservatives were wiped out of West Yorkshire.

But Conservatives still do quite well in local elections, and the seat, Labour’s 83rd most vulnerable, is not immune to a revival in Tory fortunes.
