Labour will have to recover its stay-at-home voters to be sure of keeping this seat next time round.
In the longer term the Boundary Commission proposes to remove some of the strongest Conservative voting areas, which should make Mr Levitt’s mountain retreat a little harder to storm from the general election after next.
