Battersea
Constituency profile
The Conservatives’ performance at local and European Parliament elections suggest that they should be able to regain this seat, but it is important that they appeal to affluent urban voters at a national as well as a local level, in the same way they did in the 1980s and early 1990s.
Perhaps more significant will be whether Labour can maintain the reputation for financial prudence that underpins the affluence of many of Battersea’s residents.
