West Dunbartonshire
election guide

Constituency profile

The town of Dumbarton has joined with the Clydebank section of the current Clydebank and Milngavie to form a reconstituted West Dunbartonshire constituency under the recent Scottish boundary changes.

While West Dunbartonshire is clearly a Labour stronghold, it is the Liberal Democrats that currently hold Argyll and Bute. The wards from here added to the existing seat will mean a knife-edge marginal to watch on election night between Labour and the Liberal Democrats.
