Labour should sustain a significant majority in this constituency for the foreseeable future.
The only possible threat to this will come if Wrexham AM John Marek's new Forward Wales party can appeal to a number of disaffected Labour voters.
Should they be able to, then it could split the Labour vote enough to let the Conservatives in, but such an outcome looks unlikely at the present time.
