"ePolitix provides a fast, efficient and customer focussed service.  They have proved extremely helpful in allowing us to engage with our stakeholders on a wide range of policy issues.  I thoroughly recommend them"

Katherine Miles, Government Relations Officer, BUPA

"Having recently become an ePolitix Stakeholder, I was impressed with the professionalism of the ePolitix team in handling the process, such as producing our stakeholder website with minimal fuss.

They quickly understood the our needs and used their network on contacts to make the most of the Stakeholder Interview which gained positive national broadsheet coverage.  I am happy to recommend them as a hassle-free competent outfit"

Rob Reynolds, Head of Communications, Anti-Social Behaviour Unit, Home Office

"The Prince's Trust is a regular contributor to the ePolitix Stakeholders site with both Policy Consultations and Interviews.  We find it an excellent way of engaging the political community and stakeholders and playing a vital part in the debate on issues related to and affecting some of the most socially excluded young people in the UK.  The opportunity to instigate Policy Consultations and the range of subjects covered by them is particularly good and we find Stakeholder Interviews an invaluable tool in highlighting our campaigns"

Charlotte Moore-Bick, Public Affairs, The Prince's Trust

"Working with ePolitix to develop and deliver our message to those with the ability to affect decision making was a straight forward process.  Our Chief Executive was able to put across his concerns through the interview and we were able to underline the debate through the policy consultation.  Should legislative concerns arise again we will have no hesitation in working with ePolitix again"

Fiona Fountain FIPR MinstF, Director of Communications, Charity Logistics

"Age Concern England regularly submits comments to ePolitix's Policy Consultations- we see it as an additional and useful way of contacting the key ePolitix audience of parliamentarians and public affairs professionals."

Hannah Pearce, Parliamentary Assistant

"ePolitix offers a vital portal to political discussion and is an excellent channel for accessing information quickly."

David Thomson, Head of Government Relations, Barclays Bank

"ePolitix.com's pioneering work in the provision of powerful electronic communications systems for politicians and those who seek to influence them is set to make an increasingly valuable contribution to the NFU's lobby. As can be seen from the wide range of subjects on which we have had the opportunity to comment over the past month, our views have been conveyed more effectively to those whom we would want to be aware of them than was possible hitherto."

Barney Holbeche, Head of Parliamentary Affairs, National Farmers Union

"Consumers' Association really values the service that ePolitix provides. The Policy Consultations are an excellent way of getting our view across to stakeholders as well as understanding clearly what others think about the key issues. The popularity of ePolitix with MPs is also one of its major assets - it's always particularly encouraging to see the Secretary of State responding to a forum brief that we have initiated."

Spokesman for the Consumers' Association

"ePolitix is an ideal way for busy MPs to gain insight and understanding efficiently and quickly from the morass of environmental regulations and laws currently impacting on their constituents - both as consumers and householders."

Peter Jones, Director of External Relations, BIFFA

"ePolitix provides a range of useful services to people in public affairs and facilitates contact and dialogue between politicians and their constituents.  Their excellent reporting of political developments, combined with a forum facility that allows interested parties to present their positions and messages to influential audiences, makes them unique and valuable."

Duncan Cantor, Senior Policy Analyst, BUPA

"Using ePolitix to spread the word about Guide Dogs' Cost of Blindness report has ensured that we can get our messages to everyone of import within the political world. By using the full range of ePolitix's products, we have been able to connect with the media, make our report available to politicians throughout Westminster and get responses from the Department of Health which we hope will be the start of a continuing dialogue aimed at improving eye health services.  And with the positive approach of ePolitix's staff, the whole process couldn't have been easier."

Head of Communications, Guide Dogs for the Blind Association

"ePolitix.com offers an invaluable service providing up to the minute political news and information.  The early morning email briefings are essential reading to understand the day's agenda around Whitehall, while the Press Review condenses the most significant news stories into an easily digestible format.  Additionally, the Policy Consultations provide an excellent opportunity to get across views and opinions to an array of organisations and individuals."

Richard Taylor, Press Officer, Institute of Directors

"ePolitix is an excellent arena for debate on key social issues, and a useful way of reaching policy-makers with research news. The Stakeholders provides unparalleled access to representatives of government, the research and business communities, and allows for a cross-disciplinary debate on issues of great importance. The Policy Consultations are a key tool for us in communicating our research and gathering viewpoints; staying abreast of general opinion means that we can continue focusing our engagement efforts on areas which are of concern to business, the public and policy-makers."

A spokeswoman at the ESRC

"The decision to be part of ePolitix.com was thought through very carefully by Voice UK. As a small charity our funds are limited and every penny has to work effectively. We are particularly conscious that the majority of our funding comes from charitable donations. We have had older people sending us their winter heating allowance, postage stamps and on one occasion a pound coin taped to a postcard.

As director I am now convinced that ePolitix.com works for us. We use ePolitix.com as our parliamentary officer and as a platform to get our message across. As with everything in life you only get out what you put in. We try to respond to as many Policy Consultations related to our field as we can. We are very pleased that some of our responses have contributed to government responses to topics. We know we are being listened to and that those who have power to make decisions are interested when that happens.  Staff at ePolitix.com have been, without exception, helpful and encouraging. I even met with the MD when I needed further re-assurance that this was worth our while. It is and will continue to be so."

Kathryn Stone, Director, Voice UK

"The Association of British Insurers regularly comments on key issues on the ePolitix.com website as it is a speedy and direct way of communicating to government, Parliamentarians and other stakeholders."

Leonie Edwards, Press Officer, ABI

"It was great for an organisation like Depression Alliance to have the opportunity to air our concerns in an arena that is valued by so many opinion-leaders.  Through this mechanism, we were able to raise awareness of the very real issues surrounding the government's policies on mental health and in particular depression.  Obviously the government themselves are aware of how highly regarded the Stakeholders are, because their response to the interview must have taken a considerable amount of work to pull together.  In it, they make several statements that I will now be taking up with the relevant Department of Health officials in the coming days and weeks.  Without the Stakeholder interview, it's debatable whether we could have made our points so effectively."

Jim Thompson, Director, Depression Alliance

"BNTL first came to the notice of ePolitix in July 2001 when we held a very successful Conference in Aston, Birmingham dealing with drug and alcohol issues relating to children and young people.  We were asked for comment and invited to join ePolitix on their Stakeholders site as an active member.  The proposal was considerate to our status as a charity and we were offered the option to only be on for 1 year to see if would be to our mutual benefit, with a further option to extend our presence.

The staff and Trustees considered the proposal and we went ‘live' on the site in April/May this year.  We have only had a web address for 2 years and were most pleased with the amount of ‘hits' we were achieving, for a small little known charity between 1200-1500 a month seemed an enormous amount.

However since joining ePolitix we have increased our number enormously and our monthly figures for June, July and August 2002 were 5125, 4549, 4515 which is a growth of 300%.  The staff and Trustees are delighted, we can only attribute this to the presence on ePolitix for our site has not changed overtly other than updates.

Another plus for being a member of ePolitix Stakeholders has been the amount of times we are asked for comment on matters relating to our charities work and mission.  This had permitted us to have a voice on important matters but has also benefited us to be noticed and consequently we are now acknowledged as a charity with something to say that is both authoritative and credible.  Being a member of ePolitix Stakeholders has had enormous benefit for BNTL and we continue to make use of all their facilities and have recently ‘signed' up for 3 more years in which time we are looking to expand our use of the site and access to others.  I fully commend ePolitix to others."

Barbara Briggs, Chief Executive Officer, BNTL (British National Temperance League)

"ePolitix is a very useful medium through which Direct Line can communicate its public affairs activity. It's useful to know that many people who read ePolitix work within politics and rely on the site for accurate and timely information. The Stakeholder site allows us to layout in detail our stance on many policy areas that affect Direct Line and also to explain the business priorities of our company. Overall an excellent service for Direct Line that we enjoy using and one we know is an effective communication tool."

Lawrence Vousden, Public Affairs Executive, Direct Line

"As a user I would say that the major advantage of ePolitix is the speed and accuracy with which we can get new material onto our site, meaning that we can respond to events the day they happen, and not a week later, or launch campaign material when we want to, which, as a campaigning organisations, is vital for us."

Dan Scorer, RNIB

"The ePolitix site is an excellent way of keeping up to date with the latest political news.  Our own PAT Stakeholder site helps us to get our message across to key decision makers quickly, easily and efficiently.  The recent ePolitix Stakeholder interview with our General Secretary was very useful for us. It was published just before our Annual Conference, so it highlighted some of the key issues we were about to debate, raised the profile of PAT and our General Secretary, and resulted in further coverage of the interview in "The Guardian" and on BBC News Online."

Richard Fraser, Communications Officer, Professional Association of Teachers (PAT)

"The ability to contribute to ePolitix Stakeholders is very valuable, allowing an informed comment on a topical issue to be read by the audience you need to reach.  It can be used to clarify particular points and push the discussion forward."

Spokesman, English Nature

"In an information rich society where competition for newspaper column inches is fierce, The Stakeholder sites allow us to get our message across to stakeholders, policy makers and our members, and at the same raise our profile in the public affairs arena."

Spokesman, British Retail Consortium

"Since Counsel and Care became involved with ePolitix, we have found that it is an excellent way to get our responses directly to an important audience.  As well as being a very effective service, the staff are very user friendly and efficient."

Martin Green, Chief Executive, Counsel and Care

"ePolitix has grown into a valuable source of information and views on a range of issues in the political field.  It is not just about Westminster news and opinion, but solicits the views of opinion formers across a wide spectrum of bodies with a close interest in political outcomes.  The Royal British Legion is pleased to have been a contributor to this successful initiative."

Ian Townsend, Secretary General, the Royal British Legion

"ePolitix has been useful to Crossrail in drawing out supportive comments from the business sector in the forums.  The Stakeholder site is useful and comments back suggest it was worthwhile having the site.  Although we are often unable to take part in other forums, it is clear that ePolitix is an excellent way of keeping up with what is happening in Parliament."

Ian Rathbone, Media Manager, Crossrail

"The National Consumer Council was delighted to contribute the top number of comments to ePolitix.com in December.  We're always looking for ways to get our message across and ePolitix provides an ideal channel to communicate with a wide political audience as well as to civil servants, the political press and other media."

Diane Gaston, Head of Communications, National Consumer Council

"Policy Consultation provide an excellent opportunity to keep abreast of political development in our field of work whilst simultaneously briefing, and consulting with, peer individuals and organisations on our views. Of added benefit have been the responses to Policy Consultations which have taken the form of anything from Department of Health comments to fundraising opportunities. As a charity with a very tight budget, Depression Alliance has found being an ePolitix forum member to be the single best investment we've made with regards our campaigning and lobbying activities."

Amelia Mustapha, Fundraising and Communications Manager, Depression Alliance
