LOCAL MP CONDEMNS SHAMBLES AT REVENUE AND CUSTOMS

Tony Baldry offers to help concerned constituents

North Oxfordshire MP, Tony Baldry, has condemned the shambles at H.M. Revenue and Customs which has seen over 72,000 Oxfordshire families details lost on a computer disc.  In total, the details of over 25 million people have gone missing.

Tony Baldry MP said:

"The incompetence of the Government is staggering. It was Gordon Brown who merged the Revenue with Customs and it is these failings that have now resulted in over 70,000 families having there information foolishly exposed. Clearly if any family is worried in my constituency, I will be very happy to help."
