DAVID AMESS MP HELPS RESORT ECONOMIES FIGHT BACK
David Amess MP (Southend West) has today given his support to UK tourist reports by joining a Parliamentary Group aimed at encouraging debate on their future.
The All Party Group on Coastal Resort Economies will allow MPs to share their concerns and offer their solutions to the problems affecting the country’s seaside towns.
On joining the group David Amess MP said,
‘Coastal towns have increasingly become victims of a number of specific geographic problems as I raised in my Adjournment Debate on the regeneration of Southend on 9th October 2006. I believe that the APPG will offer myself and my colleagues a forum to share our experiences and ideas, and achieve an increase in the awareness of the problems facing costal towns’
