MP attends St John Ambulance awards

On Thursday 7th December, David Amess MP (Southend West) was guest of honour at the St John Ambulance annual open evening and awards ceremony at the Civic Centre in Southend.

David was very impressed with the enthusiasm with which the cadet division of St John Ambulance in Southend is run and dedication and commitment shown by its members, the youngest of which is yet to be a year old!

Speaking after the event David said,

‘I was delighted to be the guest of honour at the St John Ambulance annual awards ceremony. This is an excellent organisation with which I am proud to be associated and I wish all the cadets the very best for the coming year.’
