Marketing Institute Appoints HR Manager
London - 22 November 2005 - The Chartered Institute of Marketing has appointed Helen Sheehy as Human Resources Manager. A Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, Helen joined The Institute in the summer from Gate Gourmet, where she was HR Manager.
"For me joining The Chartered Institute of Marketing is very exciting as I'm now a part of a relatively new and innovative management team in an environment where good ideas and improvements can flourish." said Helen "I'm determined to make The Institute's HR team a major contributor to the organisation's future success by adopting best 'people' practice and improving internal communication. We've also some important vacancies to fill that include Director of Education. As the leading international professional marketing body, we are seeking people that are experts and leaders in their field, and able to actively contribute to the future growth of The Institute."
Helen plans to introduce a steady flow of HR reforms and has already conducted a staff climate survey, which will be formulated into measurable action plans across the organisation, employee support programme, and a nursery voucher scheme.
