Black and White Ball’s 15th Anniversary

RNIB Cymru would like to thank the 125th Anniversary Committee for hosting their 15th annual Black and White Ball to raise money to support RNIB Cymru’s nursery in Cardiff.

The ball will be held at the Cardiff Marriott Hotel on Saturday 12 November 2005. In addition to dinner and dancing an auction and raffle will take place on the evening.

The annual Black and White Ball in Cardiff raises vital funds to support RNIB Cymru’s nursery. For the last 15 years the committee have organised the annual Ball and raised over £250,000. This fantastic achievement is a credit to the organisers and all that attend and sponsor the enjoyable evening.

RNIB Cymru would like to thank the 125th Anniversary Committee

for raising their support. A special thank you goes to the members of the committee: Brian Manning, Chairman; Vivienne Brown, Secretary who has voluntarily donated her time to organising the ball for the past 10 years and Phil Grourk, Treasurer.

Caron Jennings, Fundraising Manager for South East and South West Wales commented:

The chairman of the 125th Anniversary Committee, Brian Manning of Manning Construction, said “The ball is now firmly established in our Social Calendar, we enjoy organising the event and raising much needed funds to support blind and partially sighted children in Wales.
