Children need school trips

Responding to the National Trusts report on impact of school trips on children’s development, the General Secretary Steve Sinnott said:

“The National Trust is absolutely right. School trips provide enormous benefits both educationally and personally to pupils. The Government should guarantee all children access to a minimum number of outdoor activities and visits to museums and galleries.”
