Rogue diallers are attacking internet users' PCs, changing the number used for a dial-up internet connection to an expensive international number, or premium rate number without the customer knowing. It is only when a customer receives their telephone bill that they realise they have fallen victim to the scam by which time they may have a telephone bill running into thousands of pounds.
