No reshuffle of rent-free homes
Despite the fact that they are meant to be allocated on security grounds, most ministerial grace and favour homes will not change hands as a result of the reshuffle.
David Blunkett will keep his Belgravia house as work and pensions secretary while Geoff Hoon and Margaret Beckett will stay in flats in Admiralty House, despite their jobs as leader of the House and environment secretary carrying no security risk.
